Lunch

We have found that you can get lovely fresh bread (the bakeries will provide you with a listing of ingredients) and give the humble sandwich a bit of a makeover (We use Olivani instead of butter).  Great combinations include:
  • Bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato
  • Chicken (roast a couple of breasts the night before), mayonnaise, tomato and  lettuce
  • Fresh ham (if you get from the deli get them to cut it in front of you and if they use a slicer make sure it is not used for cheese as well), tomato and lettuce
  • Smoked salmon
  • Tuna and mayonnaise
  • Peanut butter
We also enjoy eggs benedict, with smoked salmon, poached eggs and Kato hollandaise sauce.
Bacon and eggs is another great lunch option.
